  • 6 slices turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or pot over medium heat, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, keeping the grease in the pan.
  2. Add ground beef to the pan and brown it, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Drain excess grease if necessary, then mix in the cooked turkey bacon.
  4. Pour in beef broth and season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper if desired.
  5. Simmer on low for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
  6. Stir in butter until melted and combined.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
