Churro Cheesecake is the ultimate dessert fusion, combining the crunchy, cinnamon-sugar goodness of churros with the velvety richness of cheesecake.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together ½ cup sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  3. Unroll one package of crescent dough and place it in the bottom of the prepared dish. Pinch seams to seal.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and ¾ cup sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla; mix until combined.
  5. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the dough in the baking dish.
  6. Unroll the second package of dough over the cheesecake layer and pinch seams to seal.
  7. Brush melted butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  8. Bake for 28 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool before slicing into bars.
