Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup honey
  • 12 teaspoons hot sauce (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Butterfly or pound chicken breasts to an even thickness and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up a dredging station: mix flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in one bowl; whisk eggs in another; combine panko breadcrumbs and feta in a third.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with the panko-feta mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
  5. In a saucepan over low heat, combine honey, hot sauce, red pepper flakes, and apple cider vinegar until warmed through.
  6. Drizzle the hot honey sauce over the crispy chicken and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
