  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 lb cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Spray the slow cooker with olive oil. Place chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom.
  2. Add marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion granules, Italian seasoning, paprika, red chili flakes, and chicken broth. Ensure chicken is submerged.
  3. Cook on LOW for 4 hours or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Shred the chicken with two forks.
  4. Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix in tortellini, mozzarella, and cream until covered by liquid.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for an additional 30 minutes until tortellini are tender.
  6. Stir in spinach and cook for another 10 minutes. Finally, mix in grated Parmesan and adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
