  • 1/2 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Olive oil (for cooking)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 small cucumber, grated and drained
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill or 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. For the tzatziki sauce, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Refrigerate to blend flavors.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, oregano, onion powder, salt, pepper, and beaten egg until just mixed.
  3. Preheat skillet over medium heat with olive oil. Shape turkey mixture into meatballs (about 1 inch) and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  4. Serve meatballs with tzatziki for dipping alongside pita bread or salad.
