  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 56 peaches, cut into wedges (about 8 per peach)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375° F. Place the cubed butter in a 9×13 inch baking dish and melt it in the oven for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Add the milk and vanilla; mix until just combined.
  3. Toss the peach wedges with the remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar and maple syrup.
  4. Layer half of the peaches over the melted butter in the baking dish. Pour the batter on top without stirring, then layer the remaining peaches over it.
  5. Bake for 50-55 minutes until set in the center and golden brown on edges.
  6. For serving, mix together the remaining butter and maple syrup in a small pan; boil for 2 minutes and remove from heat.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature topped with ice cream and drizzled with maple butter.
