  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup glazed pecans
  • 4 slices Turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 grilled chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. For the dressing, whisk together apple cider vinegar, honey, sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Gradually whisk in olive oil until emulsified.
  2. To prepare glazed pecans, preheat the oven to 350°F. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil, add pecans and stir for about 30 seconds. Spread on a buttered baking sheet and bake for 12–14 minutes until golden.
  3. In a large salad bowl, combine mixed greens, sliced strawberries, red onion, cranberries, feta cheese, grilled chicken slices, Turkey bacon pieces, and glazed pecans.
  4. Drizzle with desired amount of dressing before serving.
