  • 500 g turkey breast, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 200 g provolone or cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices crispy turkey bacon
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers; sauté until tender (5-7 minutes).
  2. Add sliced turkey and season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce if using. Cook until turkey is fully cooked (7-10 minutes).
  3. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  4. Once turkey is cooked, reduce heat to low, place cheese slices on top of the turkey mixture, and cover for a few minutes until melted.
  5. Meanwhile, lightly toast hoagie rolls in the oven for about 5 minutes.
  6. To assemble, fill each hoagie roll with the turkey mixture and top with crispy turkey bacon.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
