  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Cut the pressed tofu into slices or cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, nutritional yeast, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, thyme, oregano, olive oil, apple vinegar, and water to create a marinade.
  3. Coat the tofu pieces in the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb flavors.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the marinated tofu pieces.
  5. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
